Yay for the homestudy. it is a very exciting milestone. Our homestudy visit took about 2 hours. After all my cleaning the home tour wasn't that big of a deal. It was very exciting to have that portion over and then the waiting began. Good luck.

The home tour is really kind of a letdown. After all the cleaning, it was a quick walkthrough and not the be-all and end-all that one thinks it will be. The house doesn't have to be perfect. We've had 3 different SW over the the past 2 abd a half years due to one SW being let tgo due to budget cuts and then we had to change home study agencies when our placement agency decided to close the local branches and just keep their main office in St. Louis. Good luck tomorrow; it really isn't as bad as we all think it will be initially.

That's funny that you and your brother are wearing almost the same color. You have another brother too, don't you? One who is much younger?

Do you have to create a portfolio? Are you open to a baby of a different race or biracial?

I've been follow ing Adrienne & Jim's blogt http://our-journey-to-parenthood.blogspot.com/ for several years since they adopted Owen from Russia and a couple failed pregnancies, as well as a couple failed domestic adoptions. It is really an interesting story.
